I hosed out the carpet really well and then dried it all. I then put lots of pet odor remover and also febreeze. It does not smell awful but you can still smell it. I would just like some advice on how to fix this.

You need a cleaner with enzymes. If it still smells bad then try a professional detail shop.

Go to your local feed store and pick up Natures Miracle, there are a couple different kinds so get the one for that type of pet odor.
It's an enzyme and will basically eat up what's causing the odor. Just follow the directions on the bottle. I've used it for exactly the same then, much better than Febreeze or other odor cover ups.
Best wishes!

properly attempt to take aside the cowling, i'm assuming the air intake is via the wipers, decrease than the windshield, attempt taking that aside, clean it. Then spray the interior of the place the filter out is with Lysol. And replace the filter out. after all that turn the air on severe (not a/c) basically open each and all of the doorways and permit the scent bypass with the aid of LOL

Dump some coffee grounds on the carpet - that's what the airlines do when someone barfs on a plane, let the grounds (dry and unused, of course) sit on the carpet overnight then vacuum it up. Hope that helps!

Dunno if you can get it in the States, but here vets sell Totalcare stain and odour remover. My dog was once spectacularly sick on my mother's Persian rug (he'd been eating earth and cat poo...) and we used the best part of a bottle of the stuff cleaning it. Mother thought the rug would be fit for the bin, but it cleaned up fine...we kept spraying on Totalcare til his lordship eventually condescended to lie on the rug once more; then we knew the smell was well and truly gone!
