Just a question, though I know more then a few of you will become everything that your religions are against due to this question... but

I don't want to hear I feel Jesus in my heart and he speaks to me and all that nonsense. I can play music from Bob Marely and get fuzzy feelings it doesn't mean I'm a Ratafarian it simply means that I agree with his message.

In the modern world you wouldn't believe that a man walked on water or spoke to an angel in a cave (I dare you to try that one) without proof. Yet you do and are quite willing to bash anyview point (despite Jesus' preachings of love the sinner hate the sin and they will know me by your love) and you know what, I'm not even going to open up the Islam can of worms just watch CNN. All over something you can't see, can't feel, and can't prove. Explain yourselves.

1) what makes you right and not the other guy (I know the Bible/Qu'ran right!)
2) have you looked at the real history of your religions Let the Venom spitting begin

It is pointless to argue who is right and who is wrong. We won't know for sure until God tells us.

To touch question 1, as for me, as the seas become calmer, why would I push out and go back into the ever-agitated seas of this world. I would never hit people on the head with a frying pan and try to make them understand I’m right. I have a life already. But no one can convince me to alter my course now.
For question 2, how can there be venom if I don’t have a frying pan in hand?

The difference is my life it is my proof, living right, making appropriate choices spares one from the consequences of what I call sin. For example now that I know Jesus, I do not have to worry about: Say getting drunk and sleeping with a stranger, or killing someone. The teaching of the bible are not some mysterious sayings, they are very common sense things. I do not practice sin, that is saying I do not live a lifestyle that puts me in situations that can cause me turmoil and worry.
But if I do mess up, I can go to the Master thanks to Jesus and he will wash me and help me get on the right road again.

Jesus Christ saved me when I hated God the most.
I was a liar. I am now an truthful man.
I was a thief. I am now an honest man.
I was a blasphemer. I am now a worshiper of the Living God.
I was foul-mouthed and abusive. No rotten word will I allow to come out of my mouth.
I was addicted to alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, LSD and speed. I am completely free of all these things and have no desire for them.
I was fearful. I have no fear.
I was hopeless. I have great assurance of a wonderful future.
I was hateful. I hate no man - but I hate the evil of wicked men.
I was ignorant. Now I know God, and if I said I didn't know Him I would be a liar.
I had anxiety. I have great peace.
I know exactly the meaning of the words of this great song:
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see."
I attribute it all to the grace that I found in Jesus Christ.

I want to hear this one too. Even as a young child, I wanted to know why Christianity was the only true religion and all the rest were false or just myths. In my version of the afterlife, there are lots of different people represented, like it or not.

It doesn't matter if I'm right - it matters what God says. I believe in His word. I could quote the Bible as my source. I could tell you that I have been saved by grace through faith and that they were both given to me by God. I could tell you the history, outside the Bible, that verifies what the Bible says. I could point to the empty tomb. But, without an open heart to God, none of that would matter. God has given you a choice - you believe or you don't - it's that simple. Your decision.

It's not about me and me being right. It's about the living God. It's about being saved by grace...a gift from the living God.

Arguing the point gets us no where. What I can tell you is how my life has changed since inviting Jesus into my heart.

I am not the same person, I don't want the same things in life, I'm happier, have peace and a comfort I had never known.

I know in my heart, soul and mind that God exists. I know that He became flesh to die for my sins and has sent His Holy Spirit to council, comfort and teach me.

I have faith in what I don't see and in His Holy Word. I have experienced the Holy Spirit and know He exists. It's not something I will argue over. If you haven't experienced it, I hope you will. If you have, then you know what I'm talking about.

That's a good Q, I think every believer should be convinced with what he believe using his intelligence and not emotions.
---------------------------
I do agree with most of the things you have mentioned, and I'm not going to write a whole story.
---------------------
If you are looking for truth and only truth take a few months in from your life and real search among the different religions using your intelligence and only your intelligence and see the results.
YOU are not far away from the truth.

people need to stop asking questions asking people why their religion is right, it only creates a bigger bias and separation in their heads, why don't as many people ask for similarities

people believe what they think to be right, why would you believe in something you think is wrong? human nature

but the problem comes in when people rub these views in other people's faces, they should just accept and tolerate, but that's too hard for these people

whatever man

Seeing your attitude, you will never believe in anything we tell you. Why post such a question if you think we are all mislead? Then who, in your opinion, is right?

Islam sucks. It makes no sense. How does a RELIGION make you do evil things. It is more like they worship the devil. I'm sure that God is not leading them down their path! They have sick, evil minds and want us dead.
