My friend thinks it is unapropriate to buy your girlfriends undergarments for Christmas. What do yall think?

A couple years ago my best friend thong underwear for Christmas....I got them at Old Navy and they perfectly matched a pair of socks that I got her...although it was the only thing that I got her...I got her a few other gifts too....I think that it would be weird if that was the main gift that you got your friend. I also think that it would be weird if they were really little skimpy, sexy thongs...lol...but do whatever you feel is okay!!

If you two are close friends, then sure! Why not? If you're just acquaintances, then it might be a bit weird, but if you know that she wouldn't be offended by a thong, then go for it.

So, I get thongs every holiday from my female friends. It would be way more weird if my guy friends were buying them for me.

Yeah, its really weird. How do you know they even wear thongs? Why not just do a gift card or pajamas or something less creepy? Someone elses undergarments really aren't any of your business... why do peoplel have to be so intrusive these days?

Agreed. I love my girlfriends, but I don't want them buying me underwear. Especially sexy underwear. I'd rather them get me a really cool pj or something I've had my eye on for a while.

i agree - it's weird. give them a gift certificate so they can get their own thongs. Eww - almost like giving tampons as a gift!!!

the only time i'd probably buy another woman lingerie is for a bridal shower...i think it's inapropriate

gift card from a lingerie store is better but it depends on how close you are.....i wouldnt with either of my closest friends....
