The differences between Hinduism and Christianity are vast. Having read numerous stories of people who have left Hinduism for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I’ve identified that a common theme runs through their stories. These people left a life of hopelessness, where they were dependent on their own works to escape from samsara, to a life of hope and assurance of their salvation. They left their millions-in-one impersonal gods, and found the one true God of the universe, who cares intimately for each one of them. For this reason, it is important to identify the most basic differences between Hinduism and Christianity

If you are a Hindu man or woman reading this, please know that a greater hope exists. Indeed, it is more than a hope – it is an assurance. You are not relegated to rebirth after rebirth in an attempt to “get it right.” There is a personal God, who cares deeply for you. He knows how many hairs you have on your head, yet he controls ever facet of the universe. He loves you, and desires to redeem you unto Himself. All you have to do is accept! Indescribable joy awaits you! To learn more about how to accept the gift of eternal life, click here to read about the Roman Road to salvation.

people should really reserach other religions instead of following stereotypes

India used to one of the wealthiest countries before imperialism, so it was you white people, not the religion that amde the country poor
another thing, if you looked into hindu philosophy, you would know why this person asked the question and how sophisticated the philosophy is, but i'm tired of explaining it to stubborn, biased, inconsiderate, racist individuals

but this is in response to the question

yes, I think Hinduism and Buddhism can take the world to the next level
Hinduism officialy states to respect and tolerate all religions, it says that god has no true form, the idols that are worshipped are symbolic, if you asked any hindu how many gods there are, they will always answer one, and people don't wordship cows, for the millionth time, they respect animals, it takes a higher form of reasoning to respect life forms, I don't care if I'm insulting you now, my patience is so limited with people like you, this one religion had been around way before all these present religions came about and will continue to be around because it is genuine, god is not punishing and jealous, but positive and loving no matter what, the religion is about discovering yourself and truth, not the truth about god but truth behind being, like existentialism since existentialism was influenced by Hinduism, the concept of evolution has existed in hinduism for thousands of years, and Hindus believe the universe is infinite and ever trillions of years, it is destroyed then created again, and hindus cremate the dead, they don't toss them into the river, when a person dies, some people cover them in whote cloth and let them float on wooden sticks, but in the end cremate them, stop being so ignorant

if you would stop being so narrow-minded and question things in life, only if, people are too delusional and lost

more here if you're sriously interested, if you don't appreciate hinduism, please don't insult it either, hindus are so tolerant of everyone, india and nepal being secular states while having the biggest hindu populations, no country in the world has the official religion of hinduism, the president of india is muslim, the prime minister is sikh and there are many christians in the government, so if they respect you, please respect them, please

intelligence takes the ability to question and religion is about you questioning and finding your own beliefs, not everyone is attracted to the same thing, stop with this narrow-mindedness, this is what is killing people in the world, when was the last time hindus left india to spread their religion? they believe no matter what god you pray, we all pray the same one, they don't believe in conversion because it is only by name of religion

Hindus only want peace

hindu philosophy is the philosophy for future

When people will be fed up with "My god" and "Your God", hate and narrow mindness....they will realise the depth of spirituality of hinduism

Vedanta philosophy is going to be next ladder for all mentally evolved persons

NO intelligent and wise person would deny the core philosophy of hinduism which tells

God is one and not a king sitting on some sky

God manifests as universe hence he is in every particle of it

We can reach or become God even in this birth

Evolution is true, reincarnation is true and multi-universes theory is true

There is life on many planets...some where more intelligent some where lesser

Cosmic Energy is self-conscious and is cause of all creation/evolution/manifestation

Good people from ALL religions and backgrounds are the ones who'll do it. Decent humans who don't hate can be found in all religions and if the juvenile "my religion is better than yours" kinds of hate mongers would just crawl under a rock and not spread their venom, we can finally have peace on earth. All of us living and accepting each other without hate. We can only hope.

Only if it's a step back into the stone age. The poor people of India starve because they're too religious to butcher and eat the cattle they worship. They toss their dead ingto the Ganges river, polluting their drinking water... all in the name of Hinduism.

One man's religion is another man's belly laugh. I have a PhD in comparative religions. I look at the tenents of Hinduism and double over with laughter. If YOU, however think Hinduism is the next step in enlightenment... go for it!!

Sure, there's nothing better than being relegated to a caste system. How many of the untouchables are you going to take to the next level?
