I have soft red hair that looks lovely when straightened but takes for ever to do. when is natural it is extremly poofy and kinda frizzy. What products or haircuts can I get to help my hair look nice? (btw i am 15 so something that isn't to "older person looking" is what I am looking for)

The products that were recommended by others do not work so well on me. My hair has a tendency to curl only somewhat and it poofs and frizzes like crazy.

A few products I recommend (and have heard other people recommend): Frizz-ease hair serum, leave-in conditioner (like Bonacure) and Tres Emme hot oil treatment (which is hard to find, but I found it at Ulta).

I think the most important thing to remember is that you need to start with a good shampoo and conditioner (otherwise no amount of hair product is going to help you). I have used two that I like: Iso brand smoothing shampoo/conditioner and Bonacure smothing shampoo/conditioner.

Good luck!

I'm not knowledgeable about poofy hair because my hair is straight, but I would suggest going to a salon and asking a stylist there what s/he suggests. Get the salon products, whatever brand is suggested, because they are better than the supermarket or drug store kinds. They're more expensive, but worth it. Ask what cuts would be good for you, what lengths, etc. Ask them if a flat iron would help you control the frizz. From what I've read, they seem pretty powerful.

I know where you are coming from but try using one of those 'curl taming' shampoos and conditioners from Garnier... they work really well and your curles should turn out curly not frizzy

I use Garnier hair gel. It works really well at taming.
