Yes if an embasy is on foreign land then the ground that is owned by that embassy is actually property of the country that the embassy is from. That is why when people go to another country and either don't want to be arrested or can claim ammunity because they were on another countries soil.

yes it is however do not run for cover to the embassy if you committed a crime you will be detained and mostly handed over so not to cause international incident
