of course take the nurse's advice! but if you're not having trouble breathing/any other symptoms of a heart attack and the pain is just in one area, calming down about it first may help. i've had chest pains for a while - i even got so paranoid about it that the slightest beat of my heart would freak me out. i went to a cardiologist and i was hooked up to the ekg, tested, and even went as far to get an ultrasound. it all came back normal and healthy. i still get the pains sometimes... but it's muscle related, and yours could be too! plus, if you're feeling under the weather [cold, flu, etc.] then you might just be having the muscle pains that come along with it! i hope this calms your nerves & that you're okay :)

I would call a doctor or ER. Especially if it has been going on for awhile. It could be indigestion but it could be something more serious. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
