They're called blackheads. The idea is to make the saturate the dirty oil and then clean the remaining dirt from your pores. The process has to be repeated over and over. Retine is the fastest OTC product I know that'll do the job. Have Fun!

If you have blackheads, this is acne. The way to clear it up is with a good daily regimen including cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. After your daily regimen, you should use a BHA not an AHA.
BHA stands for Beta Hydroxy Acid - otherwise known as Salicylic Acid. BHA is oil soluble - that means it breaks down oil. It will go into your pore and clean it out. (An AHA is water soluble and will not clear a pore, but will exfoliate your skin well.) For acne you need a BHA. There are tons of Salicylic acid products you can buy at the drugstore. Go read some labels and select one.
If you have spots that are not blackheads, but are are dark spots on your skin, you have what are commonly called age spots or hyperpigmentation. In this case, you will need an AHA (Alpha Hydrox Acid), otherwise known as glycolic acid.
For hyperpigmentation, you can also use a hydroquinone baded product like DDF Fade Gel 4.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Here is what I did:
Option 1: go to a dermatologist and get a series Beta Peels (usually 3-5) for $75 each
Option 2: go to Walgreen or CVS and buy Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel for about $15 and use it multiple times.
The peels worked but Neutrogena was a lot cheaper.

goto the demertalogist and he will give u somethin that is good for ur skin. don't use cocoa butter and shea butter because it takes yeaers for it to work and it will make pimples come cause it is nuthin but grease. and to clean your poors you should boil water in a big pot. and when the water has boiled for about a half an hour. put your face over the pot and a towel over your head and stay over the pot for an half an hour. the hot steam cleans your pores. and tie your hair up so the grease don't drop to your head. and don't take the towel of your head because the steam will come out.
