Science is the truth, or it wouldn't be allowed in science. I worship the truth, and so should you.

By definition Science is truth.

Typically Science puts forward a theory, if it stands the test of time and scrutiny of other scientists and observations, then it becomes accepted as truth.

People DO NOT worship Science, what actually happens is the following..

1. People trust science, and live by it, because it deals with reason, logic and observation.

2. Religious types generally abhor Science because it is removing the veil of ignorance that religion has cloaked humanity with for thousands of years.

As the years roll by, religious "truths" are exposed as facts of nature, the "hocus pocus" is replaced with understanding.

Religion fears this like no other because it knows people are "programmed" to scrutinise, they are "programmed" to use reason, they are "programmed" to use logic - religion doesn't want this because when you apply reason, logic and scrutiny to religion it falls down like the house of cards it is...

Long live science, and all who sail on her..

nobody worships it.
but given a choice between a nonexistent god and science, science is a better option. science actually makes sense, does not require you to kill anyone, does not force conversions, and does not wanna send u to hell.
find out a bit about science, and u might actually get ur brain working again instead of mindlessly following what some gullible fellow preaches to those who make the mistake of standing still long enough in their vicinity to get brainwashed.
i guess ur one of the people who think science is a conspiracy to offend god by the no-believers who are going to hell?

How do you worship science? Do I pick one fact and worship it. Why not pick this one over here. Do I write books saying that if you don't believe in evolution that you will go to hell? Good idea.

Welcome to the church of science. If you don' believe in evolution that you will go to hell. If you don't pray what I tell you to pray to this fossil I found than you will go to hell.

At least we would be worshiping something that has been proven.

I believe in God and science.

Why are you so foolish? Do you see me spending time everyday to pray to science? Do you see me wasting Sundays worshipping science? Do you see me giving my money away to science? (well, okay, but it beats giving it to a Church...at least science actually attempts to CURE illness.) Do you see me ingesting the body and blood of science in a ritually cannibalistic ceremony?

No one worships science. Worship is what you do with non-existent entities.... Lets not discuss the newly elected leader of the Christian Coalition, who was terminted for wanting to end poverty and global warming..... God forbid Christians concern themselves with poverty and global warming!

Who worships science and is there a church somewhere? I am getting my degree to become a scientist (anthropology major – going for my bachelors right now and who knows what the future will bring) and my husband is a scientist (meteorology –master’s degree). We respect it and you should too because the human race is where it is today because of it. Do you like all your modern comforts?

People do not worship science! That is silly!

Science is for those that use reason, logic and common sense!

Worship is for the weak minded that need others to think for them and tell them what to do!

Science is not truth. Science is a tool used to measure truth.

Science is not truth; it's just the most reasonable approach to knowing the truth that's available to us: i.e., the use of our senses and our reason. Everything else is coercion or superstition.

What is untrue about science?? That sounds like an ignorant statement. Science is the study of things. Methodical, studying, processing, discovering. What are you talking about?
