Homeschooling a preschooler can actually be pretty inexpensive. With access to the internet and a printer, you can get all or almost all of your resources from the net. You can also check your local library for sources in the children's section. You also have the option of going to any book store and checking out their kids section where they have the workbooks and such. A preschool full curriculum workbook could cost as much as $20 or less. Either way, homeschooling can be as expensive or as inexpensive as you want to make it. Do searches under 'homeschool preschool' or vice versa, and check either secular or non-secular homeschooling websites, you'll be amazed by the wealth of information you find!!
Good luck!

What does that mean, "In a homeschooling program". Does that mean you are enrolling her in something or you just want to teach her at home?
Homeschooling can cost a little bit or a lot, depending on what you choose to do and use. I didn't really do anything special for pre-school nor K, and for grade 1, it was a couple of math and language arts workbooks and then lots of books from the library for science, history, etc., outline maps from online for geography, etc.

Homeschooling a preschooler is far less expensive than enrolling them in preschool. In fact, it's practically free.
Which state are you in? I recommend joining a Yahoo group for homeschoolers in your state, and asking this question. You will get a HUGE response, and lots of support.
Good luck!
http://groups.yahoo.com - then search for "yourstate homeschool"

for a preschooler it is relatively cheap. like the other poster was saying...supplies can be purchased from walmart if need be.
it can be as in depth as traveling across the state for a field trip or just learning about wildflowers in your own backyard.
My daughter has said to me that she loves homeschooling and I seriously doubt she feels "tortured" by it.

You can get many of your resources online or make them yourself. Learning basics like ABC's, numbers, music, and such can be only as expensive as buying school and art supplies from Walmart.
You can also purchase educational videos and curriculum from stores like The Learning Shop. It all really depends on how in-depth you want your child's program to be.
Happy learning,
Mel

Whatever you do DO NOT HOMESCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN! They will think it's fun for a while until they get to be like 11 then it just bugs the crap outta them. Trsut me. I'm a freshman and I've been homeschooled my whole life and I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. Please don't torture your child.
