I suppose you would add up all unsolved murders and subtract a percentage for multiple offenders. I don't suppose it's a figure we would boast about in our tourist guide.

well for known criminals I would say:
www.fbi.gov/wanted.htm, of course this has nothing to do with people that kill and dump the body and nobody misses them, like drug addicts and homeless. People have killed in Europe since the dark ages and not many were caught (ie Jack the Ripper) at least we catch a few on this side of the pond.

I think there have been about 600,000 homicides since the seventies It's not clear how many went unsolved.
