I have heard of some people being so obsessed with God (Christians) and He's all they talk about.
Well how do they get obsessed if they don't know what He looks like?

Imagine you get a glimpse of the most beautiful and incredible sight in the world. You see a little bit, but it's not enough, you can't help but want to see more. And you want to tell people how great this thing is that you've seen...
Everything else that you've ever seen becomes grey and dull.
God is the Creator of everything... a person obsessed with who He really is would have a concept of him being the most tremendously powerful, yet completely pure and loving, force they've ever known.
If you ask Him, He can show you.

They become obsessed with the idea of God. You can be obsessed with something without knowing what exactly they look like. For them, the thought of a mighty being that crushes those who oppose him is exactly what they want. They do not realize that God is a loving God and will not damn others just becuase they are different.

I don't know what He looks like or even if He's real, but I'm thoroughly obsessed. You could be obsessed with love without knowing what it looks like, why not God?

It is a gift from the holy spirit. They catch on fire, not literally of course, for Him. Sometimes it last for a while then it subsides and reoccurs. Usually to experience this you would be in a state of Grace

God would have to introduce Himself to you for you to understand that. Hey! why don't you ask Him to let you see Him for who He is?
