after they decide a goal,
then have them break it into steps.
then the next activity they break it into smaller steps
then they make a plan for when/how they will take those steps.
identify barriers and how to get over them
each can be individual or small group.

i mean like if the goal is "play professional football"
or "be a rap star" or "date johnny depp" then they should
think about how to achieve that in smaller steps
*practice football every day
*improve sprint times by having dad time my sprinting
*put tires in the backyard to do football drills
(barrier might be where to get the tires)

etc....you get the idea...
but THEY construct it and have to think about the steps.
get down to the level of what they should do each day.
do something eaach day to get to the goal

have them swear or promise or state in front of the group their intentions to do it. have them be accountable, have a buddy to check on the progress (did you sprint today?)
