Does anyone know what is up with calls that are already pre-recorded and say, "Oh I'm sorry I have the wrong number." What are the purpose of these calls? Are they some how scamming you in any way or is it just to bug the hell out of us?

These are usually simply recording what time someone will answer that particular number. It is a precursor to more random dialing calls to target a time period when they are most likely to get an answerer.

i would ignore them bc most likely they are just a telemarketor or some crap like that...
