I am prescribed both of them. I get the methadone from a clinic and the xanax from a family doc.

remember what they say about methadone, one pill can kill...I wouldnt mess around mixing any medications, especially those particular types...if you are under a doctors supervision while taking these, then you are ok, if you just decided you were gonna take these pills together then talk to your doctor before taking anymore....

Anna Nicole's son died taking Methadone and Anti-Depressants, so this may Not be a good idea. My husband's relative was using Cocaine while on Anti-Depressants and was declared Brain Dead. Be Careful and talk to a doctor or call a pharmacist, they are usually very pleasant and helpful.

The question is, "why" are you taking these two meds together? If it is for fun, you need to get some help and get it quickly. Mixing these two type drugs together could be fatal depending on how much, how often and what else you are doing. I have lived that life, and I am not bragging by any means. But, the life you save may just be your own. Please do yourself and your family a favor and get some help. Please don't be so selfish just for a short high.
