believe me, you know when she's not interested--there will be very little eye contact, she won't smooth her hair or tilt her head towards you--conversation will be kept to the bare minimum.

Keep her answers short, don't initiate conversation, don't make eye contact, keep walking when you try to talk to her and say, "Sorry, I'm really busy," not smile too much, not call you back, not email you back, not take you up on any invitations even for small things like going outside to smoke a cigarette, etc.

What I do is take every opportunity to voice my preference for singlehood and my radically feminist ideas. If you can say out loud that you don't need men, they'll believe it.

I would stop talking so much to him (if I used to do it), look at him coldly or not look at him a lot, don't smile too much
