My boyfriend and I love each other. He likes to compliment me, take me out, say he wants to give me the world, and spend time with me. He tells me that he can't live without me and he believes I'm the most beautiful, caring girl he's had. But our relationship has just gotten so boring and he just seems so uncaring since he's returned from his business trip. Since he got back from his business trip, I didn't see him for two months and I didn't talk to him for one month. All of that is due to job mishap and depression. I only wish he would've let me help him. December 3, 2006, he calls me and says he wants to take me out. I was angry and upset because I totally put the relationship on hold. I don't know what to do or say because, now, whenever he calls and we see each other, he can't keep his promises. I don't blame him because he's in search of finding a job and he has no transportation. Still, I'm afraid I may hurt his feelings if I tell him because it's not his fault he can't call.

A person changes over time,a relationship changes over time.I guess the spark that kept your relationship alive is missing now.Let me tell you very frankly that similar incident happened with me 5 months ago.My ex called me his angel and also treated me like one.He also gave me plenty of love,care and compassion.But he moved to another state and got a new job,since then he called me infrequently,neglected me a lot.He also avoided and totally ignored me.I confronted him. He told me that he had career goals and was in a demanding job.I too was extremely upset and frustrated over this issue.I just couldnt take the neglect from such a special one.I learnt that he needed his space and was all set to achieve his goals and thats why he had to push me away as he considered me less important.
I suggest you to give him his space and time.During this process,he will let you know if he's really into you or not.I know its hard,but you have to wait and see what he's actually upto.You will get answers from him verbally or non verbally.

He has you on the backburner. End the girlfriend relationship and be his friend during his recovery. Eventually he will move on like you should.
