yes, lack of attention (to make it simple...because trust me, there's a long story)

Yes when I was like 14. But the guy I cheated on I dated for 4 years after that. I have never cheated since then and would never cheat on my fiance. If I really felt like I needed to cheat I would either break up with him or let him know how I am feeling and then I might not feel the need to cheat anymore.

I felt neglected by my wife and after trying to discuss it with her a few times it just seemed a lot easier to be attracted to someone who would pay attention to me. Pretty much the standard excuse. Doesn't make it right, we got found out, and it took me years to win back my wife's trust. Been married over 25 years now and while no marriage is perfect, ours is pretty good.
Some advice for you:
- Never cheat, it's not worth it. You will lose a lot. It may seem easier to cheat than to work on a marriage, but try working on a divorce and losing most of your friends in the process. Talk about hard work.
- Don't expect your marriage to be perfect. They all have their ups and downs. You have to ride out the hard times. I've been through times when we didn't have sex of any kind for 2-3 months, but now it's a lot more frequent, intense, kinky and satisfying. Pretty much anything goes, between just the two of us.
- Don't expect marriage to be easy. Sometimes it will be very hard. You may need to take off work to work on your relationship. Do it. Your company will never be as loyal to you as your family.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
I am fascinated by the negative ratings being given to those who say not to cheat. What in the hell are you raters thinking of? Speak up, we'd love to hear your excuse.

I have never cheated on anyone in my life... even when I was in school. I could NEVER do something like that to someone. I am a firm believer in treat others as you would like to be treated, not to mention I don't like hurting others. If in a relationship and you are not interested in or devoted to then get out.

I have never had sex cheating, but I have fooled around cheating. Never with my wife, it was a past g/f. I did it because I really didnt love her anymore and wanted some excitement in my life that she was unable to give me.

yes, and anybody who says lack of attention is a big baby (that is usually a girls' excuse for cheating) Me on the other hand I was/am usually drunk and im a sucker for big boobies and easy chicks. No reason, I was very serious with the girl and did love her but she was pretty boring in bed and always complained about "doing it too hard" so id get it from drunk random hussies as the bar.

Yes, i have cheated before. I'm going to tell you this, and remember it: If you have time to cheat on that person, then that person have time to cheat on you. Think about it.

My wife caught me registering for an questionable adult site which she claims I was cheating on her... My opinion differs to hers... But in her eyes, I did cheat on her... I did not do anything other then register...

Yes :( when i was younger, and dating. I guess I wanted to. No alcohol was involved. I just found this other guy attractive, and decided to go for it. I wasn't mistreated or unhappy in my relationship, i was just being selfish.
Married now, would i ever cheat? HELL NO!

No, if there's something about my significant other that I don't like SOO much to bring me to cheat on him, then I would just break up with him.
