Dear Lady: When in doubt Go see the Dr. Most of the time the presence of cancer is not painful. Cysts can be or infection on rare cases. I battled the monster this yr. Cancer is gone & I feel fine. Something I was told. Fear kills far more women then breast cancer does, The though of cancer is so frightening, I know that. Many are afraid to fined out. They wait to long & then its a battle. Most women today do survive & go on to live quite well. Trick is you are clearly concerned get it checked. I wish you good luck.

It is a well known fact that cancerous tumors are oftene not painful, which is why women often miss an early diagnosis.
1) Is there a lump or just a general soreness?
I would go to an OB/GYN and get an evalution. If you are a child go tell your parent and have them help you make a decision. If you are an adult do not play around with this having us try to guess what your issue is. Make an appointment and have a breast exam.
