I know all religions (or lack thereof) have people who listen to all different kinds of music. I'm interested to know what the R&S community here listens to. Please list your religion (or lack thereof), what types of music you like, and maybe a couple bands/artists that you'd call your favorites.

I attend a Baptist church, though my beliefs are of the more Reformed variety. My favorite types of music are classical (just participated in a Handel's Messiah sing-a-long yesterday--Heavenly!), folk and bluegrass. My favorite bands/artists are Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Brahms (his Requiem is amazing), Michael Card, Fernando Ortega, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Peter Mayer, Nickel Creek, etc.

I am Christian. I listen to Christian Alternative. I also listent o secular music because I work with youth grouos who have parents that allow them to listen to secular music and I need to know what is in the lyrics and the groups they are listening to. If the secular songs becomes offensive, I change it. I think the choose to listen to secular or Christian music is a question of balance, too much one way would cause a Christian to be too legalistic with their religion. I am a Calvinist by the way.
