Okay, he wore sandals, (but no grey shin length socks), had free flowing long hair a beard, loose fitting clothes, preached love and peace, liked the odd vino, gave a few concerts to packed natural audatoriums.... So, was Jesus the first Hippy... or was John Lennon the reincarnate Jesus?

And before anyone libels me... or quotes numerous apostles, canons, psalms, verses etc,(Unless its from 'Imagine')... please think very carefully about the question before answering.

Lennon would have been reborn in the 40`s ! Jesus the "Hippy", is a piece of creative fiction, based in part upon a media/art world image that owes everything to imagination, and nothing to truth. Palestine of early AD, was entirely different than the wishful thinking of "Jesus the strolling Hippy and his band of dudes do good things under the palm trees". There certainly is more identifiable truth in `Imagine`, than will ever be found in the hagiography of Jesus.

What would make you ask such a question? Look back in history and you will find that Jesus wasn't the only one with long hair, a beard, loose fitting clothing or preaching love and peace. His cousin fits the same description and came six months earlier.

John Lennon was Jesus reincarnated?! Please. What do you know about the true life of John Lennon? If you knew anything at all you would not have even put John Lennon in the same thoght pattern with Jesus.

As you should know, John Lennon said the Beatles are better than Jesus, and hippies were not very keen on Christianity either, hence their curiosity and commitment to anything non-Christian, from "free love" to Asian religions and religious practices.

No he won't be reborn, he's in Heaven seated on the suitable fringe of God. sooner or later quickly God will tell him to return to Earth to take administration. Then Judgement for all of us.

JESUS was not reborn in the 1960's as this was not the proper time or place. there was to much social unrest and conflicts during this period of time.
