I've read all about it, including the Koran.
How can you expect me to say that it's "Great" when the man who made it was an illitereate till his dying day?
How can you expect me to say that it's "Great" when it was made by a man who said that the Archangel Gabriel came to him and chose him to be the Prophet which was an obvious lie?
Have you seen how barbaric you people look when you pray? You want me to call this "Great"?
How can you revere a man who was a pedophile and his succesor was the man who sold his daughter to him for power?
If Islam is about tolerance and forgiving, how do you explain 9/11? The beheading of Eugene Armstrong? All those atrocities?
May God grant you the wisdom to leave that madness.
Peace.

I don't think that people hate Islam or the Muslims, It's the radicals in every religion that give them all a bad name, I have educated my self in just about every religion and or why of life out there. They all shear the same basic teachings, in other words they all pretty much say the same thing just with minor differences, This has lead me to the conclusion that there is no such thing as religion, This dose not mean that I don't believe in god I do I believe in God, just not religion there all right, but all wrong at the same time. The point is that there are uneducated people out there that just hate because that is what they are thought as children they don't know any better so please find it in your self to forgive the uneducated people out there and try to make the world a better place.

People don't hate Muslims, Christians, Hindu's, Agnostics, Atheists, Buddhists or whatever religion, faith or denomination. However there were, are and always will be some people who do.
In your specific case things work against your belief, sometimes by the outside world (one sided media coverage; prejudices; ignorance; racism; etc. against Islam) and sometimes by your own situation (no open, democratic societies in most Muslim (dominated) countries; no separation between church and state, practice of Sharia laws; etc.).
These things on both sides obscure the discussion which should take place in a fair manner. If Y!A is the correct place, I doubt.
Please, don't confuse being critical with being against you.

Many years ago (55) I did research to on discrimination that showed the result of a few people of an identifiable group doing something bad. Those few people gave the whole group a bad name. It was true of my school where we all wore a distinctive uniform. Sorry, those are the facts. The only solution I know is to have the group take major action to stop the bad people from doing what they are doing. The real power is with the people ... not the bad people or the leaders. Some leaders of late have exacerbated the situation with their words and actions. Thanks for your sincere question. I hope this helps us all.~

I am so glad to hear a moderate voice like that. I absoutely support you spread peace and love instead of hate. The only problem is that those terrorists find support from many Quranic verses, Hadiths and incidents from the biography of prophet Muhammed.
My own opinion is that Muslims should denounce all violent teachings from their religion so that the terrorists will have no grounds.

I am a Catholic. People hate Catholics now because of some horrible acts by priests. Is there any difference? NO!
However, I rebuke what these priests do, and would do anything in my power to have them removed from society.
The "good" Islams do no such thing. They just say "don't blame us" I think if they took a more proactive stance toward the terrorists, they would be more accepted.

Islam does contain love, peace and forgiving. But when there is also parts of the Koran that state that anyone that is not a believer in the Islamic faith, is an infidel, and you are to kill the infidel? What about that?

I do not hate any religion...it's the people who GIVE that religion a 'bad rap' that I do not like. To generalize and lump every person in that faith based on the actions of one person is misguided and wrong. I for one, do not judge on religion, but on the individuals actions. Peace be with you.

Muslims hate Jews by way of fact Mohammed informed them to; they hate Israel by way of fact Britain gave that land to the Jews after WWII, displacing the Arabs who have been living there (yet whats up, Palestine belonged to the united kingdom, no longer the Arabs, so no longer uncomplicated). Europeans hate Jews beause of millenia of anti-Semitry there began by employing early church leaders. Muslims, specially Arab and Persian Muslims, hate human beings by way of politics of oil. we've carried out issues that have been in our nationwide self-interest that they disagree with. additionally, they have been all pawns during the chilly conflict, pushed and pulled between the U. S. and the U.S.. What they fail to comprehend approximately us, however, is that in the event that they only made effective the oil saved flowing, we would be happy and might depart them on my own. Everytime they threaten the oil furnish, it makes us worried. Oh, and don't ignore, totalitarian regimes have continually necessary a boogie guy to frighten their own human beings. We serve that purpose to lots of the regimes in the middle East. Our diplomats do only no longer do an extremely stable job of the two countering the image, or embracing it and being the full-devil they portray us as.

All religious extremism leads to violence, regardless of whether you pray to Allah, Jesus, YHVH, FSM, Brahma, or any other god.
Islam is the hated "flavor of the month", before them we had the godless commies to hate, so on and so forth.
Any divine being would tell you not to hate, but I guess that goes without saying...
