I found the path to the truth in just being around people that I trusted. I started asking my friends about their religion. One of them led me to a church. That I am now a part of. Just find someone to help you get on your way. Find a church that you feel comfortable going to. You'll find the truth. In Jesus Christ. Remember he is the truth, the way, and the light!
God Bless and good luck on your search for the truth!

Truth like Morality is relative.
People only believe what they do because they believe it is the Truth even in Bad Faith.
So there is no path to truth. It just is.

The path to truth is the knowledge of God. God has revealed Himself in human history through the Scriptures of the Jewish prophets, as evidenced my many signs and wonders and prophecies, many of which are being fulfilled today, especially in the return of the Jews to their promised land of Israel. God revealed Himself perfectly through the person of Jesus the Christ, or Messiah (Anointed One), who after having made atonement for sins to reconcile Mankind to Himself, was raised from the dead, appearing to His believers for forty days, and then ascended in heaven. He will return to earth again, according to His promise and execute judgment against all the enemies of God who have rejected the Gospel, or Good News of His salvation; a salvation which is received by grace through faith in the message preached. To all who receive Him He gives the right to become children of God, through faith in His redeeming blood sacrifice, by the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit.
He said "I, Iam the Way and the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father but through Me (Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 6)

Whatever road you travel is the path to truth. Some people actually even reach the destination. Most of us have to continually retrace our steps as we get lost with all of the detours and roadblocks.

You must study and find what is true in science and that which fits into the Word of God, or if not the Word of God as you see it, that which provides for the respect and dignity of each individual and living being, which brings man to unity in his search for this dignity and respect, and accomplishes peace among these beings.

Jesus said the road to life was narrow and few are the one's finding it. He also said there would be those who believed they were doing good things in his name according to his will and yet he would say to them, "I never knew you."
