I don't think the Bible ever personally addresses "lesbianism"
( female homosexuality). Do you think this is one reason that "lesbianism" (female homosexuality) is much more accepted then "Gays"
(male homosexuality) in the American culture? As the Bible has had a profound influence on the way a lot of people view things...what do you think?

The apostle Paul expressly condemns lesbianism in Romans chapter one, so the basic assumption behind your question is incorrect. I suppose that the Bible does not speak about it any more often than that because historically speaking, lesbianism has been rare.

To address your question, I suppose that the reason that Americans find lesbianism more acceptable than gays is the latent sexism in our culture that assumes that women are weak creatures who cannot control their impulses or emotions. Gay men are looked down upon because people assume that they are weak for being gay; our culture looks down on weakness of any kind in men. Our culture already assumes (condescendingly) that women are weak anyway, so our society is more likely to feel sorry for women who cannot "fit in" more so than men. Either that, or men just find lesbianism to be a sexual turn on, so our society simply tolerates whatever men like.

Sin is Sin, whether its homosexuality or not its all sin. All sin needs to be repented for. I don't really know why people Jump on Homosexuality as a huge sin, i believe its just as bad as any of the others. I have sinned, so I don't think I'm any better in the eyes of God then the homosexuals. To deny what they are doing to be a sin, is where they get in trouble with God. Everyone has natural desires to do sinful things, if they didn't there would be no sin. It takes work to suppress those desires. Homosexuals can inherit gods kingdom if they repent for every homosexual act. God will forgive every time. I believe god understands the difficulty of the temptation and that is why he offers forgiveness. The bible talks about how these people aren't going to inherit God's kingdom so they understand what they can do to change that. The old testament is old, and very different from the New testament. As someone mentions the "He who is without sin cast the first stone" Nobody is with out sin, nobody should be stoning anyone. As a christian, i do get upset with Christians that force their beliefs on other people. I mean, there aren't any laws against premarital sex, but it is a sin. Many Christians and non Christians have had premarital sex, why aren't they being treated the same way? Basically i answered this question because i wanted you to notice how often in the bible does it mention Homosexuality, how often does it mention other sins, obviously homosexuality wasn't Gods biggest concern, and please don't let the Christians that act like its the worst thing you can do and show hate towards homosexuals, cause you to hate Christianity, because no where in the bible does it say to practice hate.

Here are acouple of those verse for lezzies

Romans 1:26-27
The King James Version translates these verses as:

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another, Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

1CO 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God

Contary to what the worlds view,GOD LOVES YOU...WARTS AND ALL!!!You are still his baby girl. What the Bible says Gays, people who had sex outside of marriage...etc will lose their inheritance. It didn't say you are damned for all times.I think the straits who get all high and mighty, are hypocrites.
Jesus said he would never leave or forsake you. That would be a bad Father. The only thing that would damn a person for all times. Is not to except That Jesus is the Son of God.That he died and rose to life to pay for your sins. This and nothing more.

In the first chapter of Romans Paul equats lesbianism with homosexuality and other degenerative sexual sins. The conclusion is that they are both sins and neither good for the sinner nor their relationship with God.

I think it is because male homosexuals are violated in ways men should never be violated.

Lesbians usually just do what a normal couple would, except with two women.

Romans Chapter 1 Verses 24-27

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

While not explicitly mentioned, it is included in the prohibition of 'not taking on the practices of the canaanites'. It has long been understood that these practices included idolatry, witchcraft and both male and female homosexual practices.
