While beer does contain a significant amount of carbs, it is far more likely that long-term sittin' and drinkin' with the attendant snacks, TV, and buddies around is more to blame than the calories/carbs in the beverage.

Drink what you like, (in moderation, of course), just run around the block after each drink!

Best wishes!

Well if your that self conscious, Try, Seagrams vodka coolers, bacardi rum coolers, that's what my sister drinks. Or you can try liquers, Tia Maria, Kahlua, both good with coffee or milk. You don't have to quit beer. Just do some regular exercising. Sitting around all day on a couch or in a bar drinking will give you a beer gut. It doesn't have to be that way. Pace yourself and like I said exercise regularily. Especially the abdomen area. Touch your toes a hundred times slowly. Or do situps. You don't need to join a club. But you can always enquire about nutritional facts, and exercise routines, even here on the net.

Well i have heard that one bottle of Budweiser is the same as eating one snickers bar. So that should tell you there why the belly is getting bigger they don't call it a beer belly for nothin. I would say if you are going to switch to try vodka and red bull or crown and coke. It depends on how you react to the different types of alcohol. My sister cant drink vodka she gets mean and violent. Try different things til you find one you like.

Beer is made from wheat ingredients, thats why it give you a belly. Hard liquor is not the same and will not give you a belly. Does not neccessarily mean it would be a good replacement though, water would take my vote. :)
