Never go on a blind date at night, you have no excuse to leavem if it is a disaster, too late in the day to hve an alternative appointment.
Tell a friend where you are going for safety and security.
Get that friend to call you one hour into that date, so if you want to escape you can pretend it was an emergency call.
Good Luck from someone who has had quite a few blind dates, hardly any successful.

My friends (2 couples) were going to see this band and asked me to come so i could meet this male friend of their as a blind date. Neither of us wanted to do it cos we thought it was lame so our friends PAID for the tickets and everything so i thought it was rude not to and it turns out he thought the same and we ended up dating for 3 months. It didn't work out in the end but my god were they fun 3 months...
Have fun! And get your mate to ring you halfway through the date, you can always make an excuse to leave then if you don't fancy her or even like her! But I'm sure you'll be fine!

Don't go in with high expectations - anything that comes from it is a bonus - I went out with a girl for two years I met on a blind date - so it can be worth it!

I have
It was with a friend of my ex boyfriends - we had never met before, they used to work together and when we split up i came across his number in my phone and didnt know who it was, i called it as i was curious and we just got chatting. Anyway he sounded really cute and he was about the same age as me. We agreed to meet that night and i ended up staying over @ his house, if you are going to meet someone for the 1st time make sure you go somewhere neutral where there are lots of places around, and always tell someone. Even have a friend go with you and when he shows up then your friend can go do there own thing. just remember to be safe.
xx Good luck xx

Ah yes....blind dates....They can be very, very interesting. It could be great or you could get burned. Just cause they sounded hot on phone doesnt mean anything though pal.

I have, but he was my best friends boyfriends best friend and they both had two seater sports cars so was thrown in at the deep end.
Just be yourself like I did, and hopefully she'll like you. If you already get on over the phone, it's a good start.
