In general, who do you think is more likely to cheat in a relationship: women or men?

I used to think the answer to this was simple....men. but, my husband is in Iraq now, and he tells me all of the time, that the men there are finding their wives cheating on them while they are gone. I do not get it. I could never cheat on my husband, I love him way to much. They are in a war zone, risking their lives, and the women they love cannot wait a year? Come on! I am finding that women are evil and vendictive, and will cheat in a heartbeat. Our men just left in September, they have been there for 3 months, and it is already happening. This is sad.
My answer will be 50/50, peope will cheat no matter what their gender is. There are a few out there that will not, and my hat is off to them!! But, because of these dumb women, it is making it hard on me, my husband of 12 yrs, is now doubting me. I know it is hard over there, and all of the other men are dealing with it, but I have never and would never, and I am starting to hate the fact that he would doubt me now after all of these years!

I think its both. I mean in the porn industry,stripper clubs,prostitution, and so on both men & women participate. They are both likely to cheat. The old stereotype that men only cheat is now gone due to our new century. Things are different now. Its now equal & men are getting hurt just as easily as women by cheating.

It sounds sexist..but I think men are more likely to cheat.

Women do it too and are at fault when they cheat...

I just think men give in a bit easier.

I would say men, but women are not far behind. They both cheat for different reasons. I read somewhere that everyone is "wired" to have an affair. So if you become complacent, then it is likely to happen.

I honestly think women cheat more. They cheat for different reasons.

Alot of guys cheat because "grass is greener syndrome".

Women cheat because guys treat them like crap.

Generally speaking, I think there are more guys in the world that treat their women bad, than there are guys that look for a piece of @$$ because their current woman doesn't do it for them.

Most Men because they are not smart enough get away with it. Most Women are more craftier about what they do and most of us can think on our toes. Down the line the guilt will get the best of us.

i think women and men are equal in this area. both can drop to their knees(no pun intended) when temptation comes a knockin'. there are no perfect men and no perfect women, so it's hard to say who will 'be good', and who will falter first. (even though it seems like most ppl think men are huge man whores)

Typically men only because they are not instilled with the same values usually by peers. Why? I think it is a society trend which is also a problem.
