I appreciate most off all when someone is REAL and down to earth.
I like to be able to talk about anything with my friends, without getting into back-biting or gossip. My friends are REAL. That's the thing I appreciate most in people.
-Make eye contact
-Speak your mind
-Respect others
-Treat others as you want to be treated
-Be confident
-Value yourself
-Value others
I could go on, but you get the point...
;)

I am LDS. My belief is that most, if not all, religions have good parts to them, just not the whole gospel. There are many things in other religions that are left unsaid or unanswered. I have prayed and know that what I believe is true. It all makes 100% sense to me. Everything I have been taught and am currently learning. That does not mean that I am perfect or know everything either. I believe there are wonderful people in all walks of life, every religion, race, color, everything. I do not believe my faith is "better" than anyone's. I believe mine is the most complete. I strongly believe too, those people who are strong in their faiths will live in the millenium, all those who are living at least a Terrestrial life-style, and then will accept the fulness of the complete gospel. That is partly why we do temple ordinances for the dead, so they can have a chance after this life to accept or reject the gospel. If they accept it, then their ordinances have been done for them. Anyways...that's just my belief.

In every type of person I respect, intelligence-not book or street smarts but overall intelligence, compassion for self and others, a strong sense of what they want and a sense of humor.... regardless if the person and I are just friends or in a relationship these basic tenets are important.

Honesty and wisdom.
I think the trait of wisdom is overlooked and often confused with knowledge or intellect. I think a person can be wise without ever having stepped foot in a college or university in his/her life (my grandfather for example). Wisdom takes being able to know and understand people, not just stuff that's taught in books.

I value loyalty above all else. The other qualities I would seek in a mate and/or friend are as follows: honesty, straightforwardness, ability to communicate, good listener, kindness, and willingness to make the effort to maintain the relationship.
