I know that compliments are compliments and I like them as much as the next person, but I have a question. Which do you prefer to be called? What determines someone of being either Hot or Cute?

as a female id much prefer cute... i think it has more respect and admiration...... if I call a guy cute. rather than hot.... im probably not as attracted to him.... but just think he is easy on the eyes.... like lots of gay guys I can call cute...... i wont go after them.... if i call a guy hot....since i never really do............... it would mean i shouldnt be left alone in a room with him...without being flustered and red.

I think calling someone beautiful or good looking is a much better compliment then cute or hot.

some compliments are deemed to be superficial, esp from strangers... i never know how to react well with compliments except saying a thank you and then looked away, blushing. In fact, I rather these ppl compliment on my outfits/new hairdos instead...
i guess hot usually associates with a great figure? whereas cute would be his/her facial features or certain facial expressions which allow you to think of him/her as cute...

Both are nice, no matter who you are; but here's something of a general guide:
Control-freak psychobitch: prefers to be called hot, because 'cute' often implies childishness and stupidity.
Catholic schoolgirl: prefers to be called cute, because 'hot' often implies sluttiness and lack of etiquette.
Just depends on the girl, really.

Being cute is kinda like not dateable but hot is when someone is very attractive and your wanted by that person.

i prefer to be called HOT!! because then i'll know im more smokin than the others lol!!! cuz there are alot of cute people but only are few are previlieged to be called hot!!!!

I'm always cute, and depending on who's saying it, it usually makes me feel 12. I'd much rather be referred to as HOT!
