my mum did up till i was about 10 maybe 11,but then it stopped,nowadays i just get a kiss on the cheek as shes leaving my house,god i hate being 29 sometimes i really miss that close time with my mum i had as a kid,my dad never gave me a cuddle never mind tucked me up in bed reading me a story

when i got to about 11 i stopped kissing my mum goodnight before bed...i just didn't think it was necessary any more (i was at that age)...i think it was because all my mates at that time thought it was wussy.....so i had to sort of follow suit....i do kiss her goodbye after visits though....as for my dad, he's no longer here..we didn't get on at all, and i never kissed him once while i was a kid...didn't like to...(step dad i mean not real dad) i hug and kiss my dad all the time...he's cool....lol....

My Dad is up above, my Mother is 78, so in my case, that doesn't apply or happen. However, they used to do that though, and a fine thing to do.
I did all that with my kids, bedtime stories & all that.
Parents should.
No excuses.

no they havent done that since I was like 10 and I'm 21 one now sooo.. no they haven't in a while
