i remember hiding behind the sofa when I was a child watching Dr. Who, and the Daleks were coming along London's Embankment chasing Dr. Who. He ran down some steps and then they were also on the lower level - how did they do that? This is a question from Mr. GorgeousFluffpot again who has put away his football and toy plane and is now dressing up in his Dr. Who outfit!!

As a dyed in the wool geek and self-confessed sad b*****d I can say that Daleks have been able to go up and down stairs ever since Colin Baker's time in the part back in 1985.

They would blast them away, or once they had made us all slaves they could send us upstairs to fetch what ever they wanted. Much like our parents used to do when we was little (go on ill time you!! i fell for it everytime lol)
