trust me...if he isn't over his ex then even if you do go for it and go out with each other it will cause problems in the future.
I mean who is to say that when yall get together that his ex won't get upset or even jealous and then try to get him back. If he isn't over her then he might fall right back into her trap.
Just talk it over with him and see what he says.

Nothing wrong with flirting....dont rush...just continue to have some fun and spend time with him. When he feels safe enough he will tell you he is ready to go a step further! He will tell you when he is feeling more confident....how long? Well, you can never say, but if you really like him it wont matter how long he needs.....get to know him as friends..! x

Don't rush him,you have to be patient. Keep flirting and let him know you're there everytime he needs you.Sooner or later he'll let go of his ex.
