If you are going to loose over $50,000 dollars, there is no time for asking on here... You should be seeking legal advice. Find your self an experienced lawyer in identity theft. I don't know the whole story so there really is no way of getting advice. $10,000 is way too much money to lose.

Time for a lawyer. Some place have lawyers that work at a reduced fee. I know Kansas has Kansas Rural Legal Services so maybe your area has something like that to help you with the fees. Might even be able to get a consult and some direction on where to go.
