Well, Jesus was in a fashion a "man" who was supposed to experience the same pains that we feel, so I'm sure that he did get sick at times. However, since he was able to cure others, then I'm sure that he healed himself as well. Stitches wouldn't be necessary because if you remember correctly, he did re-attach Peter's ear back without using any stitches or medicine.

Jesus could have healed Himself but it would have defeated His purpose. Just like the theif on the cross telling Jesus to save Himself, it could have been done but then He would miss His purpose to suffer and die as a man for our sins.
