I need service on a ticket, and the US 1-800 numbers for USAir will not accept my call from a foreign phone. None of the foreign USAir service numbers will accept my calls, either. The phone is fine; I just made other calls with it. I have googled and googled and super-paged and can't find anything helpful, so Yahoo answers folk... here's your chance!

Depends on where you are right now.

This link provides all the toll free numbers by country....

If I knew what country you were in I could provide you with a local number.

http://www.usairways.com/awa/content/contact/reservations.aspx

Also....you should be able to reach the following number anywhere in the world at all times......it is for Tech support and they should be able to transfer you to the appropriate extension..

001-480-693-6775 International 24 hours

If you have to get SSN for a non-working purpose (I presume you're a non-citizen or an immigrant) you have to show proof of the reason you need it. For example, if you need it for health insurance, than you need a letter from the insurance company saying as much. To get an SSN, you need proof of age (passport, driver's license, possibly birth certificate), proof of identity (passport or any other photo ID), and proof of citizenship or lack thereof (in which case you need to show them the most recent immigration documentation you've got). You need to go to the nearest Social Security office in person and bring every document you have in original, not a copy.
