He owns EVERYTHING, doesn't need to buy anything. You are opening your self up for a whole lot of bad things to happen to you, if you are not for God, then you are against him, that makes you anti Him, anti Him = antichrist, you are in for eternall damnation, it is not a joke my friend, wake up and smell the roses. it is never to late!

Actually everything already belongs to God. He created the heavens and the earth. We give so that we won't become stingy, money hungry, $2,000 dollar watch buying, while your mom lives in the slums, greedy, ungrateful thinking we don't need a savior, hard hearted, can't give a beggar a dollar, never going to church but loves God, loves God but don't read a Bible, irresponsible individuals, unfortunately many have already became those individuals. But to answer your question God doesn't spend the money we give Him, He gives it back to us and we by PS3! Ferrari! Strippers!

I dont know about tithes, I believe when Jesus came, the tithing isnt practiced anymore...

2 Corinthians 9: 7 Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Offerings and contribution are used for the printing of publication, books (as for JWs).

Tithes and offerings are our part in supporting the church and through it helping others.

God owns everything from parts of atoms to galaxies!

Our offering is an appreciation of what we have been given. And of who He is / what He means to us.

He is a giver.

To him who has will more be given. Being rich in your heart towards Him means you get more cos of who you are to Him.

To give is to be like Him.

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
