Most of the online chat forums I have been on begin with guys asking you for your name etc then very quickly it goes down the familiar line of what are you wearing, look like, measurements etc. Where can I meet men online where they are interested in conversation and getting to know people.

its hit and miss like it is when you go out and meet someone in a club or bar.
chatrooms are notiorious for that. why not join some dating sites like
lycos.co.uk (love at lycos)
or faceparty.com
or girlsdateforfree.com
and say you dont want that type of bloke contacting you. they are all free to girls

I'm currently working on a website that addresses this issue, with guys behaving in the manner you describe and some hgirls for that matter acting in a similer fashion being kicked out of the chat forum, once booted they get two more chances, then it is good bye permenantly for bad behaviour. However this will not be free as the site will not have any advertising period. so i will have to charge a small fee to access the site but once in you are there for as long as you wish. with the option to create a profile and interact privately with other members. the site will not be flashy, it will return to the good old days when sites were more about the content and quality of the information than who has the flashiest graphics.
so email me and when it is up and running i'll email you the detail for you to register if you so wish once i have done a costing of how much this will cost me to run and host this myself.
it is expected to under $10 a month for the full range of services including a 100mb email inbox for messages between dating and friends members.

I think that is a rarity.....you never going to get a good conversation unless its face to face! Stop looking on a PC and get out there girl and meet some nice guys! You are always gonna get some losers on chat rooms who are only interested in a physical way....means they are either ugly and losers or are filthy perverts! Get out and have some fun, you dont need a PC to get good conversation!! Good Luck!

unfortunately most chat rooms are like this and its hard to find the gem in the crowed but try going to sites with serous talks of your interest or commitment rooms. or tell each guy that starts chatting I'm not into sex so no cypher chat please most will leave and it will save you time.
