Chrsitianity. Jesus told us we would be hated just as he was. We are obviously hated in the musim world where people can be killed for converting to our faith. We are hated by what's left of the communists (of course there are more than a billion of them in China). And we are also hated in the west as numerous responses to your question will no doubt demonstrate.
Christ warned us that we would be hated for following him, so this should come as no surprise to us (Christians).

Hi Boz
This is a difficult and very subjective question because hate is a rather personal and cultural thing, and levels of it vary around the world. Also, there is a big difference between hateful and hated, not to mention the fact that the amount a religion is hated has nothing to do with how right or true it is.
There is also the misapplication of religion. People are not always good representatives of the religion they supposedly practice.
That being said, let's look at some basics.
Christianity and Judaism are the only religions with an accurate and verifyable prophetic history. Those are facts. No other religion has anything concrete to point to as supporting foundations.
Basic tenants of that faith are where we get things like the golden rule - love your neighbor as yourself - which comes from the greatest commandments - love God, love your neighbor.
In complete contrast to that, there is the description of satan as a deciever and a destroyer. If God is love, then he is a source of good things. Satan is the opposite, and a source of evil. Combine that with the sinful and fallen state of an unredeemed and untransformed man, and you have the sources of hate.
In contrast to Christianity, radical Islamics accept that excommumincation, violence and murder are acceptable means of forcing people to accept that religion. Remember this summer how a convert from Islam had to be snuck out of Afghanistan to save his life? No other faith is tolerated by islam.
Does that make them more or less hated than Christians? Perhaps less, by popular vote, if they are doing the hating.
In the eastern religions such as Hinduism, the focus is not aimed at intolerance of others as much as it is the spiritual journey to nirvana. The Hindu meditates to detatch himself from his personality in an attempt to better perceive the spiritual flow of the universe in a higher state. It is personal and internal and not focused at hating someone else. As such, this religion doesn't draw much hate either. Any way of achieving the enlightened state seems to be okay.
"New Age" religions are really just modern adaptions of very old religions such as eastern religions and mysticism. They don't draw much hate either.
Getting back to Christianity and Judaism, we see a religion that claims there is a narrow way to heaven - one way really, by faith. Jesus said to the theif on the cross "today you will be with me in paradise" - no works, no deeds, just faith.
Some people say it is arrogant to say you must believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and that any which way you search for truth is okay. Those are God's rules though, and not man's. Who is to say we get to decide how to get to heaven?
Anyway, the conflict between the Jews and the Arabs goes all the way back to Abraham who had two sons. Isaac - who was blessed and who's line includes the Jews and Christ, and Ishmael, who was sent off into the wilderness, and despite the fact that he was the elder son, did not receive the inheritance. The family is mad to this day.
Isaac was born by God's will. Ishmael was a half brother born in Abraham's human attempt to create God's will.
The conflict between these two sons persists today and will ultimately result in a huge war in the middle east as Arabs and Islamics seek to destroy Israel.
Because of that, I will say Judaism is the most ferverently hated.
Sorry this is so long. It really is a huge subject and this is only a scratch at it.
Good question - and tough.

Each Religion has good and bad people. Look at Christianity, going through Europe long ago with a sword in one hand, and a cross in the other murdering whoever believed something else. Look at Muslims, good people who are about peace - then some are fanatics or weird-O's that blow $hit up. Look at Quakers who came to North America and took land and spiritual beliefs from Indians. So on and so forth. I guess it is not so much the Religion itself - but the hardcore brainwashed groups within the groups. A very hard question to answer without a discussion by the way.

Christianity is the most hated.
Its because they fight the evil in the world they give more money than anyone else and they give there time than any other religion a little research has shown me allot. Evil doesn't like good.
Larry needs an education
Its not because of the crusades.
A good education will teach you the main reason for the crusades were to protect against the Muslims invaders.
Yes even Christianity has had evil apples in the basket you have to expect that.

Amazing that some people put "athiest" down, Athiesm isn´t a religion!!!
According to the link below its Islam followed by Judiasm.
But it depends on who you ask, and who answers.
When you think about it the question itself gives you the answer. All major religions condone hatred as a bad, negative thing to be avoided. So its obvious that the majority of the poeple who answer will be Athiests, and seeing as the media is on an Anti Muslim brainwashing run in most western countries the answer is abvious.

I would say that my religion is the most hated, and that would be Paganism. Many people think (Thanks to the christians) that we are devil worshippers.(And soon the christians spread that lie throughout the world. Until we became known to all as evil satanists) well you know the sad thing? We don't even believe in the devil. so how does that even make the least bit of sense?
(Now I don't have anything against christianity. I am just saying that their judging, and beliefs about who the Pagans really are is a mistake)
The last thing we are is devil worshippers.
Here is the truth about Pagans:
We are lovers of the earth. We believe in a goddess and god. We believe there is some good in all things. We believe that there is a living soul in all things.

I think they are all hated about equally. Muslims are hated because of the media's continuing portrayal of all of them as being mindless zombies who thirst for land and converts, when in fact, many of them are quite lovely people. Jews are hated because they are seen as a society among themselves who do not welcome outsiders and feel like they are above the rest of us. That to is a gross generalization. Christians are hated because the ones who actually follow the teachings of Christ are the silent minority while the evangelical and radical fundie types tend to be the ones screaming the loudest, thumping the hardest and sinning the most. Gives us all a bad name and breaks my heart but there it is. Pagans and wiccans are hated because they are simply misunderstood. People tend to mistrust what they do not comprehend. Satanists too are largely seen as evil doers because of what the name implies, aside from the fact that they do not truly believe in worshipping satan or performing blood rituals that tend to be associated with them. Take your pick. Each has it's own reason for being persecuted, be it right , wrong or indifferent. All should be respected, as a person's faith is often all they have to keep them going; and no one should take that away from another.
