I remember seeing these fools buying a PS3. now granted, some were just greedy enough to sell them on Ebay, but come on, there's got to be a better way to make money. and besides, why buy it when it launches, Sony's Launched products always crash, it's a computer so the Hard drives, which only last about 3-5 years max, so why bother/

My husband and I are avid videogamers and yes we will be buying it after the new year maybe february or march. But no way would I buy it as soon as it came out. Not that desperate for one. And when we buy one it will be for our gaming pleasure. Our 2 other playstations have done us well for the past few years, no problems at all

Nope. Already bought the xbox 360. Sony kept dragging its heels with the release of the ps3 here in Europe and I got fed up. Too expensive anyway.The xbox 360 comes fairly close to it in terms of processing and graphics.
To some people I know, gaming is a religion!

Second, why do you care? Who cares if the launched product crashes? You'll still be playing the games way before anyone else. Also, if no one buys the launch products then they don't go on to fix bugs because there is no demand for it.

My son wanted me to buy PS3. When I found out the price. I told my son no way! I heard that the PS3 is not made as well as the PS2.
