how do i make metal rust quickly for decorating purposes/craft?

You use coke cola or use cheap tin. that will rust really quickly just add water to it and let air dry!!that should work . That has alway worked for me!! Good luck opus652003

It that metal is iron, if you put it in salt water it should rust pretty quickly and you could also try buying a special paint that when you spray it on your objects, they will look like they're rusted. I believe you can find it in art supplies stores and probably in home decoration supplies stores too. I've seen those kind of sprays with marble effect, cracked effect, so there must be one with "rusted effect". Best of luck findind what you need!
