For me it is that God created the world about 6,000 years ago, and that He sent His Son to die for us and rose again in 3 days just so we could get saved and go to heaven. So I am basically a independent, fundamental, Bible-believing (the KJV version) Baptist Christian. It is kinda weird that what I believe entails so much, but that is b/c of so many different religions out there, that if I don't specify it exactly then what I believe in, it can be interpreted as something else. By the way, this question isn't meant for an argument on whose religion is correct or anything, but just to see what different forms are out there. ( Although it is highly improbable that anyone will change my mind.)

I believe in the beauty of nature. I believe that we are extremely lucky to be here, and that we weren't made by a supernatural being. I believe in the Big Bang Theory, Evolution, DNA, and all things that Science has proven to us.

Well, firstly I believe that everyones' beliefs are made true just because one believes them, but mine own belief is scientifically religious, that souls are just the energy of a body, that god is life, and that no living thing be harmed for any cause, whether plant or animal.
Stuff like that. I used to be an unquestioning Catholic, but being the person I am, couldn't stand believing things that are impossible. Of course, I don't like the idea of that a young universe, because it contradicts the fact that we have rocks (fossils) that took many hundreds of thousands of time longer than that to form.

Jehovah God created the world, with the help of his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Why only begotten? Since he is the only one God created without help, Jesus helped in creating the other angels and creation.
Proverbs 8:30Â then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time...
Colossians 1:15Â He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16Â because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.
God sent Jesus to pay for the our sins and bring back the life that Adam lost. His blood was enough for the atonement of our sins.
Jesus died and was ressurected as proof that God will do resurrect the dead.
Colossians 1:17...He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19Â because [God] saw good for all fullness to dwell in him, 20Â and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens.
Jesus is the only way to God, but God only gives us the grace to be worth calling his children.
Philippians 2:9Â For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name, 10Â so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground, 11Â and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Isaiah 43:10Â “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. 11Â I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”
I believe in a loving God, not the one who burns people in hell.
Jeremaiah 7:31Â And they have built the high places of To′pheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hin′nom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, A THING THAT I HAD NOT COMMANDED AND THAT HAD NOT COME UP INTO MY HEART."

I believe essentially the same things. We may differ regarding the destiny of the lost. I have found no scriptures to suggest that those who reject the love of Jesus Christ will burn for trillions of centuries in eternal hell fire.
I believe this false teaching has done a lot of damage. It is a misrepresentation of the character of God.
I do believe that Jesus died to provide forgiveness of sins and He was resurrected and lives to give us power to overcome sin.
I believe that the qualification for heaven is a Christlike character because a Christlike character is the only kind of character that would enjoy heaven and the only kind of character that could be safely trusted in heaven.
As we cooperate with God, praying for and receiving His grace each day, He helps us to develop this character before we die.
According to the Bible, the character cannot be changed after death, during the judgment or in the resurrection. The kind of person that we have become before we die is the same person that will be resurrected to meet Jesus or face the final judgment.
I believe that while God loves everyone and will forgive anyone, He will not a single one against their will or without their cooperation.
