We 2 dozen of eggs last night, and forgot to bring it in until this morning. Is it still safe to eat if I put it in the fridge now? or is it wasted?

Well, I'm pregnant, and I dont want harmful substances in me. Its been really cold but I dont know if the temp was below 40. They've probably been out of the fridge for over 12 hours now.

Eggs will keep well for days without refrigeration - else how would a chicken set on a clutch to hatch them without all the eggs rotting?
If you think this is a joke, you don't know anything about eggs! Eggs will keep for 10 - 14 days without refrigeration, if the shell is not cracked. The refrigeration at your grocery store is to reduce bacterial growth if the shell is cracked.

As long as the temperature around the eggs was less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit then they should be OK. Four hours or more above 40 means that bacteria have had too much time to grow and you risk serious illness. If you have any doubts at all, don't risk it, just toss them.
As far as being OK because a chicken sits on the eggs to hatch them, that is a whole different concept. They are kept warm by her body heat and are growing, just like a human does inside her body.

When I was just a wee wisp of a girl, we lived in Sweden. We never stored our eggs in the fridge. They were kept in the dry pantry or the linen closet if the dry pantry was full because of the holidays. We only ate them cooked, we got them fresh from a local guy and we bought eggs once a week. Those may all have been factors. I'll still eat cooked eggs stored at room temperature for up to a week.
Still, remember the first rule in food service - When in doubt, throw it out. If you're uncomfortable with it, toss 'em and buy new ones. Eggs are pretty cheap.

Walk into any Major Supermarket in England. Eggs, are NOT REFRIGERATED. they sit at room temperature. I once lived next to an egg packing station. Eggs stored in transit case. No Cold Store on the Site.
However only a fool would buy eggs that do not have the Lion Stamp. I don't want Salmonella at the age of 80.

Eggs keep very well out of the refrigerator, in fact for certain recipes like meringue, they behave better at room temperature. (Well a fairly cool room temp)
When you bought them at the supermarket they weren't in the fridge were they?

As long as it wasn't really hot outside, it should be fine. (And as long as you are cooking the eggs, not using them in something that isn't cooked.) I don't always put my eggs in the fridge if I'm using them that day or the next.
