A place where you can bring out there personality.

For instance, an amusement park, bowling, comedy club, concert, sporting event and of course dinner. Laughing, joking, and having fun can go along way, as long as whatever you are doing is something where you have to communicate. A movie is always No Go on a first date, since your are there not talking for 2 hours. Once the movie is over, you almost have to start all over again.

Try to start early and make it an all day thing as long as there schedule permits. By the end of the day, you will know just about everything you need to know about them and whether or not you two are compatible.

Avoid going to places where you will run into everybody you know. Some place out of town when possible. Try an eating place you have never been to so if the food is lousy, they won't hold it against. Reason, have you ever bragged about an eatery, took someone there and they hated it? Just because you love it, don't assume they will.

I hope this helps.
