I don't care for the holidays at all. I see only selfishness and greed, with everyone attempting to out do the other via decorations, parties, gifts, etc. This all seem so pointless. I go through the motions because I have kids, but if it was up to me we wouldn't celebrate at all. We'd volunteer at a shelter or something similar. Thing is, I live in a VERY small town, so we don't have even that. It's depressing. To me, Christmas represents greed.

I like the Airing of Grievances. They build up all year, it's nice to have a time to just tell everyone in your family just what they do that bugs the hell out of you.
Happy Festivus!

i don't like the holidays. it is a bunch of people celebrating jesus's birthday when it isn't his birthday and they pretend to be happy. it is a corporate holiday nothing more. praise be unto the sun god. it is his birthday not jesus. jesus is dead! he isn't the son of god. mary was not a virgin.
