Call me suspicious but Ive been talking to a guy forabout 2 wks and we met online, havent met in person yet but I suspect hes been lying already!! I have no evidence but he gave me his phone numbers (cell and home) home area code doesnt matches where he lives and sounds like a work/business voicemail. and the cell meets the home area code. Do I call him on it? Also on his web page a lady left a comment to him about his broken promises to her. Do I just leave him alone? He IM's me every morning and has only called me once. he said he's been busy with work.please help!!!

That is the bad thing about meeting people over the web. You never know what you are getting. If they live far away it is useless to take the relationship serioulsy anyhow.
On the web people can pretend to be whoever they want. Then when you go to meet them, in public they are heavier than they said or the picture was taken years ago. Or they are bald now and they weren't in their picture. Things like that. If you are looking to start a relationship with someone on the web expect some disappointment.
If he is lying it will eventually come out, the question is will you be too attached to care when that time comes. Go out in the world and meet someone real.

I would avoid internet dating, unless it's through a reputable agency. You really have no idea who you are talking to online. If you are suspicious, you probably have every right to be, and it doesn't sound promising from what you say.
My advice would be to let this one go. If you want to meet a man online, try dating agencies, rather than risking it on a chat room or something similar. People often pretend to be something they are not on the internet because they can. The best thing to do is meet a man in the flesh in the old-fashioned way, in my opinion!

If I were you I would stop talking to him. It shouldn't be a big deal its not like you guys are in a relationship. You shouldn't be meeting people online anyway. Most of those cases turn out dangerous. You could stay friends with him but there shouldn't be any kind of relationship between you two.

It sounds to me like you're wrapping yourself in something that could end up being really dangerous! I would just stop talking to this person. Who knows who he is? He could just be some psycho rapist out there that everyone hears about. You should find someone that lives near you, or goes to the same school to be safe. The internet doesn't guarentee safety, so be careful!

I would say go with your first feeling they are usually right! If you have to be suspicious over the Internet BEFORE you meet that should be a signal its not the right guy!

probably a peadeophile - never meet people off of the internet, it n easy way to con people - if you do - make sure you take some friends with you and they stay in the area when you first meet, just to make sure nothing bad happens.

Cut him off completely is my advice. Learn from the mistake made by the lady on his page or suffer like she probably did.

he sounds like trouble. I'd definitely steer clear of him. Or just stay internet friends until you get down to the bottom of it. Don't put yourself in danger just out of curiosity.

If you feel that hes lieing to you then you should just leave him be. You don't want to be with someone that is going to lie to you and hurt you, because if you start to date him and he starts to lie to you the only thing its going to do is hurt you.
