I don't think so, only for the fact that I've seen what has happened to areas that have been taken over by Latinos in the border states. They are some of the worst areas in the U.S. today. They have done nothing to improve these areas. I live in So. Cal. and the offramps on the freeways have hispanics selling flowers, oranges, strawberries, and coconuts with straws sticking out of them. Reminds me of when I go to Tijuana. Isn't there a law against doing those types of things? Look at east L.A. Doesn't look like it's done anything but go downhill and has never improved. Every neighborhood that is overrun by latinos is trashed out and run down. I might have a different opinion on this subject if I haven't witnessed this for myself.

Someone mentioned something about stronger family ties. That is exactly one of the major reasons that Latin American countries DON´T progress. The children stay at home well after high school and college (if they go) and they only leave when they get married, but a lot of them don´t even do that, they live with their parents and brothers and sisters even after they get married and have kids! How are you going to progress if you´re too afraid to leave home, let alone your town, state or country? They sacrifice self-improvement and progress for the sake of their families, which on the one hand can be seen as admirable, but on the other as stifling, inefficient and anti-modern.

First of all they won't become the majority. Second, they don't have what it takes to improve the countries they left, they don't have what it takes to "improve' anything. They only know how to bring a country DOWN to their level. They are gradually turning the USA into a third world just like the ones they left. Unless, WE,the CITIZENS of the USA put a STOP to the abuses to our tax paid programs and stop giving them advantages even WE don't have.
No they won't "improve" a D@m* thing.

I believe because of that and the falling dollar and free trade with countries that workers make $100 dollars a month. The strength of the Euro. Our leaders and movers and shakers of the country will not be effected. They have theres. The USA will be more like Brasil. Compared to standard of living much lower than the rest of the western world

If that happens, the US will be one corrupt, poor and dirty country .....just like MEXICO and the REST of Latin American countries!!!! I pray THAT never happens! If Latinos were upto any good, their countries would've been well off by now... I got one small suggestion for Latinos: WORK ON IMPROVING YOUR IQ !!!

The only way our country will improve is,, if our laws will be implemented, secure our borders and ports, stop out sourcing our jobs, stop the invasion of illegals, improve our schools programs and colleges , create more jobs for Americans, etc. If the Hispanics could do all these that our present government, that is not Hispanics, are not doing , then they will do a better job, only if they could do it...

This question has already been asked already, and deep down inside you know the answer. Are the Latin countries these immigrants are coming great countries? Are they rich? Why would invading America make it a better place?

That's only a matter of time. By the looks of it, the majority of Hispanic population is increasing. But one thing though, I do hope that our immigration laws are strictly enforced by then, or even better now.
