Jesus said:
I and my Father are one. John 10:30

You call Me Teacher and Lord; and ye say well; for so I Am. John 13:13

But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
And Jesus said, I Am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Mark 14:61-62

he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:9

So how can they possibly say that Jesus never said he was God??

I know, many continue to disregard this passages only because other passages Jesus tells his disciples that God is greater than He is- but He is still God! I think it confuses many- they cannot just have faith in what God says- because we know that God can do anything...and He is not like us- as it says in Isaiah- He says His thoughts are not our thoughts nor His ways our ways- Good verse!

John 14 holds many references to Jesus being God- that is a great chapter to look to regarding this. And John 1:1 is very point blank. Thanks for sharing!

When Jesus said "I and my Father are one" he meant they were in unity and complete agreement with one another. Jesus also stated that he and his apostles were "one" He meant the same thing. Jesus said "my Father is greater than I am" (JOHN 14:28)
God calles Jesus his Servant at (MATTHEW 12:13)
Jesus is High Priest forever just like Melchizedek in the Hebrew Scriptures and he learned to be obedient--HEBREWS 5:5-8
When Jesus stated that "if you have seen me, you have seen the Father also" he meant that people could see from the qualities he displayed of love, mercy and justice, that he was created in his Father's image. We also were created with those qualities, so we were thus created in God's image.
The fact that Jesus sits at God's right hand confirms the fact they are two separate spirit persons.
Almighty God is also the God of Jesus (EPHESIANS 1:3)
This Scripture is very good to prove that the power of Kingship Jesus has been granted will not be his forever--
" Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." 1 CORINTHIANS 15:24-28
Jesus will do this at the end of his thousand year reign.
This is why I say that Jesus is not God and will continue to say so for all time.

OH WAIT.........

"My Father is greater than I" (John 14:28)

"My Father is greater than all" (John 10:29)

"......I cast out devils by the spirit of God........."(Mathew 12:28)

".......with the finger of God I cast out devils........"(Luke 11:20)

check also:
Mathew 5:17-20
John 14:24
John 17:3

and there are many more if you read the bible carefully and dont just believe what ppl tell you.......

the disadvantage ofcourse is that all you can find of the bible is translations, and what other ppl understood of the original text............
(and saying "father" can be figurative)
or it maybe what someone THOUGHT the original word to mean...... whoseever translation you are reading cannot be challenged now.......(unortunately)

Well, we are on the same page I know its because of where God says thre is only one GOD. so, they just dont get it. The Godhead is a title. But, they dont go on to see there are three in this Godhead that operate as one. The blessed trinity. PPL say well the word trinity is not in the Bible.. SO. Nor is the word rapture. There were other words used that meant the same when the Bible was written. I have a few more script for you to use when ppl try to deny that Jesus is God. Press on in truth. God needs us speaking the truth boldly, yet in love in these last days. Many more will come in in these last days and many will leave the faith. Its our job to live it, and teach it and leave the convicting to God. So Press on:

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are as one.
that one is the blessed trinity, the triune God. clear as can be. Jesus was the word....made flesh
t Tim 3:16 And without controvery great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.
the word made flesh. again so clear. and he preached....
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus. great God... again clear.
Acts 5: 3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
While it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why has thou conceived this thing to thine heart? thou has not lied unto men, but unto God.
so lying to the Holy Spirit is the same as lying to God.
clear again, the HOly Spirit is also God.
Blessed trinity. yet many in the church will deny it cuz Bible says there is only one God. upon further study and prayer, we see, yes there is one GOD. TITLE GOD, but it is three operating as one. and when it says thre are three in one, how can anyone continue to deny this truth? The devil wants so to deceive, and make it appear to be a Bible of contradictions. But there are none.. Bible fits together like a giant jigsaw puzzle, piece by piece in study, prayer and revelation from the HOly Spirit. Then, it becomes so clear. The Bible must be studied, not just read. Bible says that too. If we stay in what the Bible says, we will go thru to victory with Jesus. Obedience brings blessing and disobedience brings curse. Not my words, but Gods.
Great question. keep asking.......

It's because he never did. Just because a book says something doesn't make it true. It's like reading the Lord of the Rings and saying it's a historical documentary. Those gospels were all written by other people than Jesus himself. Jesus was just an Israeli preacher, and Jesus wasn't even his real name.

Your Bible say Jesus is not a God ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
..."I have not come on my own; but he (God) sent me." John 8:42
(God doesnot need a permission from some one)

..."Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him"...
Matthew 8:24-5
God does not sleep(BIBLE)
"No one has ever seen God ..." (John 1:18) Now if anyone has seen Jesus means either the person who saw Jesus is a lier or Bible is wrong or Jesus is not God ?

..."You have never heard his voice nor seen his form"...
John 5:37
hangon i heard a lot of people so Jesus ,does that make clear Jesus was not God

It was not a common consensus that Jesus was considered God until 200 years after his death.

If it wasn't so clear that if took them 200 years to come to that consensus, perhaps you'll give others a little more slack in raising the question.

Muslims are taught to lie when they believe lying will help spread islam, and lying about Christianity and Jesus is necessary to stop Christianity from eliminating islam. Muslims are particularly inflamed now that the Internet allows us to do research without going through the filter of the mullahs who wish not to tell the truth, but to spread islam, so they are telling more lies than ever in hopes of hiding the truth.

So, if there is only one God and Jesus is God, then he impregnated his own mother with himself, then watched himself grow up and guided himself, called himself father, talked to himself, prayed to himself, then when he died watched himself die until the very end when he could not look upon himself, and then asked himself why he had forsaken himself. Right.
