Jesus is God- and the son of God- many are confused by that but Read John 1:1.
David is a son of God, but not "THE" son of God. Just as I am a daughter of God. He is our Father. Our Father in Heaven.--those who are saved. We are called "His children" and "His sheep" -so therefore God has many sons and many daughters.

Ps 2:7I will declare the decree: Jehovah hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; *I* this day have begotten thee.

The main fulfillment of this text is concerning Jesus,

It can be applied to David in that David was anointed by Jehovah to be king of Israel

In David's case his being begotten is symbolic because it was Jehovah who personally chose David to be king.

Jesus on the other hand is the firstborn of all creation. The only creation personally created solely by Jehovah.

Jesus in turned helped create all other things. And all other things came through him, John 1:3

Neither Adam, David or Jesus are Sons of God. They're just human beings like us but they're "the messengers of God"

Actually the real son of God is a bloke called Trevor he's a plasterer from basildon essex. The other three were lied to in order for God to get them to do a job he couldn't be bothered to do himself. Notice how he didn't use a stand in when he knocked up Mary. Oh no.

JESUS
Matthew 3:16+17 (King James Version)
16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Jesus

Heb 5 is a fulfillment of the prophesy in psalm 2.....if you look closer in psalm 2, the "king" that is being spoken to in verse 7 is also told in verse 8: " ask of me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession."

this never happened to david.....he never went outside of Israel......this was prophesying the future kindgom that Jesus would oversee on earth....in the last days....

That's not David; David there is only a prophet who speaks about God and His Son.

Jesus is the son of God just as all humans are children of the Divine.

Personally, I like Aleister Crowley's statement: "Every man and every woman is a star."

you misquote Ps 2:7. It is, "The Lord said unto me"

a simple study of the new testament and old testament prophecies fulfilled in Christ would benefit you.

god bless!!
