Neanderthals ARE men. I once saw a reconstruction of a H. N. from the skull and recognized it as being VERY similar to some modern Europeans alive today! We ARE them! Or rather, they are a variety of US.

Okay, the Bible has ALOT of loopholes, in case you hadn't already figured it out. Now, I'm not trying to change your faith, or upset you, but I do like to rationalize facts. First off, it has been proven that it takes MILLIONS of years to evolve, correct? No one (human or animal) wakes up and says, 'my child needs to be able to fly'. It takes a LONG time to make that change. Ok, now the Bible can only be as old as written language, correct? Why is it that it has absolutely NO mention to dinosaurs or prehistoric animals? If God really did communicate with people, why did he not mention dinosaurs, seriously? Theoretically speaking, they should have been discovered LONG before they actually were, right? And what about cave drawings, or ancient Egypt and Tutankhamen's tomb, (1342 b.c., I THINK)? And if the giant Goliath really did exist, why can we not find his remains? (Don't say decomposition, remember, we found dinosaurs). The text in hebrew that supposedly translates into 'Jesus walked ON the water' also translates into 'Jesus walked BY the water'. I truly believe that ALL religion is false, and is all in the minds of humans. Show me a praying dog, and perhaps I'll believe. So, to answer your question, I have to ask another- Why didn't he just tell us about Neanderthals?

The Neanderthals are probably the same as the Nephilim, so they were around in the days of Noah and after as well. They were creatures different than humans, some believe half human like and half angel like.
