God manifests himself in many ways. Moses say God in the Burning Bush, etc... but the important thing that may suprise most people is that God still manifests Himself in a very humbles form. Its called the Eucharist. Catholics (and some other Christians) worship Him in this form. The belif is based on the Bible when Jesus tells us that "This (the bread) is my Body and this (the wine) is His Blood". If you want the proof or explainations please see the resources below for the justification.
The important thing is that you can meet God at your local Catholic Adoration Chapel or even see him online (webcam) http://www.savior.org/ Depending on how open you are, you can feel His presence here (this is not a substitute for Eucharistic Adoration cos thats being in His presence truly, not an online experience but a real physical presence (its like meeting Jesus 2000 years ago)).

No one can see the glory and fullness of God and live to tell. But in the Old Testament when Moses was on Mount Sinai he saw the back of God.

the only clue that i know of is in Genisis, when Adam sinned and he heard God Walking he hid from him. So how can someone hide from someone if he could never see him.
